Shell Ultra ECT C3 uses advanced emissions-compatible technology (ECT) to help protect the vehicles emission system. It is formulated using Shell’s unique PurePlus Technology, a breakthrough process converting natural gas into a crystal-clear base oil. As such it has virtually none of the impurities found in crude oil.
From the pure, clear base Shell add their proprietary Active Cleansing Technology to create a motor oil that helps provide superior cleansing and protection for todays engines protection that exceeds industry standards, keeping critical engine components cleaner.
The unique formulation helps to keep diesel particulate filters clean and protects them from ash build-up that can block the exhaust system and lead to reduced engine performance.
